Cathy is a graduate of the University of Alberta and is a lawyer and partner with Carscallen LLP. Cathy has developed a busy and diverse dispute resolution practice, with an emphasis in commercial, employment and energy litigation. With over 25 years at Carscallen LLP, Cathy has served on a variety of the firm’s committees, and was managing partner from 2013 to 2018. In 2020, Cathy was appointed Queen’s (now King’s) Counsel. Cathy considers herself fortunate to be able to contribute to the broader community through her volunteer work, and has been particularly active in supporting initiatives that involve children. Outside the practice of law and her community involvement, Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and all sorts of sporting and outdoor activities.
