Ashley is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in public practice and industry. She started her career articling at KPMG and obtained her designation in 2011. By May, 2011 she moved her career to Westjet where she worked for almost 10 years in various positions with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
In February 2021, she started with Shaw as a Business Manager, responsible for all financial matters.
She has also taught Intermediate Accounting at the University of Lethbridge
( Calgary Campus); she has volunteered her time mentoring young adults and values the importance of good education and a strong support system.

She is thrilled to be joining Highbanks Society because it aligns with her passion for empowering young women to succeed through education but also by providing a loving home and long lasting support system

On a personal level, she enjoys spending time with her growing family. She has an energetic four year old daughter and a cuddly one year old baby that keep her busy.
